Special Report from the Seattle Times : This article deserves a special
note, as it is written by our friend Ross Anderson, a columnist for the Times.
He travelled north with us and hiked the trail one day behind us. He carried on
the journey all the way to Dawson, travelling the Yukon River by kayak. In
addition to his own account, he gives historical perspective to the journey by
retracing the steps of stampeder Mont Hawthorne.
