note, as it is written by our friend Ross Anderson, a columnist for the Times.
He traveled north with us and hiked the trail one day behind us. He carried on
the journey all the way to Dawson, traveling the Yukon River by kayak. In
addition to his own account, he gives historical perspective to the journey by
retracing the steps of stampeder Mont Hawthorne.
